ROSEMARY - rosmarinus officinalis

Rosemary is a fragrant, evergreen herb native and widely grown and eaten in the Mediterranean.  It has been hailed since ancient Roman times for its health properties.  It was traditionally used to help

  • alleviate muscle pain, enhance memory, concentration and cognitive thinking, improve digestion, boost both the circulatory and immune system and help hair growth.
  • good source of iron, calcium and Vitamin B6.

Scientists have discovered that rosemary may also be good for your brain.  Some studies in rats have shown that Rosemary is useful for people who have suffered a stroke in that it is both protective against brain damage and may also improve recovery.  It may also help in preventing brain ageing
